About
Collection of Modern Art provides access to the portfolio diversification benefits that art investing offers, without the complexity of investing in art directly, or the high minimum investment threshold of other art Funds.
COLLECTION OF MODERN ART
For the first time, advised investors have access to a well-diversified portfolio of museum-quality art for as little as USD10,000 / GBP10,000 minimum investment. Collection of Modern Art is a mutual fund, regulated by the British Virgin Islands, which invests in a diverse range of museum-quality, Post-War original works of art on behalf of investors. Collection of Modern Art makes art, as an asset class, easily accessible to institutions and professional investors who are working closely with professional advisors.
We don't 'speculate' on art. The Fund follows a 'buy-and-hold' strategy, investing in art from non-producing or deceased artists, or artists with well-established reputations with the leading auction houses. These types of art/artists provide a more reliable, non-speculative investment with less volatility. Target artists include Willem de Kooning, Jasper Johns, Lucio Fontana, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Robert Rauschenberg and Andy Warhol among others.
The Fund offers investors an expertly managed, diversified portfolio of art designed to help institutions and individual investors overcome the complexities of investing in significant and prominent works of art themselves. Through this investment, they can benefit from exposure to an asset class that has shown to match or outperform both equities and property over both short and long time periods with little or low correlation to traditional investments.

INVESTMENT COMMITTEE
The Fund's investment committee blends the expertise of a talented proven investment team, with broad art-market experience. In addition to the committee members below, we work closely with several key art market dealers, such as Gagosian, Pace Wildenstein and 'Haunch of Venison'.

He holds a Bachelor of Financial Economics from the University of London, England. Angus was raised in Sydney, Australia.
Robin Duthy – Founder of Art Market Research in 1977. While working as an investment analyst in London, he noticed that no one had ever undertaken a systematic analysis of the art market, compared to conventional investments, which are intensely studied for past performance. Art Market Research now publishes the influential AMR Art 100 Index and the AMR Post-War 50 Art Index among others, which are used to monitor the art market and value the Collection of Modern Art.
Robert Hunt – Research Analyst. Robert provides analytical and research based support to the Investment Committee. He is the principal contact for all Castlestone Management Distribution staff. Robert joined Castlestone Management in 2005 after receiving a Bachelor of Financial Services with Honors from Bournemouth University, England.
